What we collect

Today, the free setup experience saves the people, occasions, and notes you enter in your browser on this device. It does not send texts, emails, or gift cards from this local experience.

If you activate a handled reminder plan, we collect the contact and reminder details needed to provide that service, such as your name, email, optional phone number, the names of people you add, important dates, preferences, notes, tone, care mode, and approval choices.

How we use it

We use this information to save your setup, prepare reminder nudges, send confirmation and approval emails, provide support, prevent abuse, process payments, and improve whether the product is clear and useful.

Reminder messages go to you first. Anything sent to another person requires approval.

Service providers

We use service providers for hosting, database storage, email delivery, payments, and site operations. Payment card details are handled by Stripe; On Their Day does not store full card numbers.

Analytics

The site may record lightweight product events so we can understand whether the experience is clear and useful. We try to keep analytics minimal and product-focused.

Sensitive details

Founding member setup details may include names, dates, preferences, and notes about people you care about. Share only what you want used to provide the reminder service. Do not enter highly sensitive health, financial, legal, safety, or emergency information.

If you add details about a child or family member, keep them limited to what is needed for reminders and thoughtful notes.

Your choices

You can clear your browser data to remove local On Their Day data from this device. For handled-plan data, email hello@ontheirday.com to request access, correction, deletion, or cancellation. We may retain limited records when needed for payment, tax, security, dispute, or legal reasons.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards for the product at launch. No online service can guarantee perfect security, so please only add information you are comfortable using for this reminder service.
